Un des plus beaux villages de Wallonie.
|
One of the most beautiful
villages of Wallonia is Laforet. A long time ago, the village was rather
poor and the houses were small. In 1213, a charter acknowledges the
village of Foresta (latin name of Laforet). Nowadays, there are beautiful
renovated houses. You’ll be able to see two watering places, deemed for
their historical significance. One is in the center of the village, the
other is in front of the house n°47. It is in
this village (in the south) that you can see, during the summer, the
Claies bridge crossing the Semois River.
